Based on your child’s developmental Stages and The Safety Recommendations made by the American Academy of Pediatrics, Integrity Freight Services is proud to provide to you a unique program to assist you in caring for your child.  Please see information below for Developmental Stages, Crib Safety Standards and Recommendations, and Sign-up Instructions!

For only $35 per visit, you will receive:
~ Email notification each six months that a service is recommended, including
~ 6 Months: Lower crib mattress support and check all safety standards.
~ 12 Months: Lower crib mattress support to center and check all safety standards.
~ 18 Months: Lower crib mattress support to lowest setting and check all safety standards.
~ 2 Years: Convert crib to toddler bed or day bed with Manufacturer’s conversion kit (available for purchase where you purchased your crib)
~ 4 years: Convert toddler bed or day bed to full size “Big Kid” bed (if conversion to full size is available) If you require a new “Big Kid” Bed, you will not be charged for set up.

For only $35, your crib will be converted and checked for safety standards at each stage of their development, so their furniture will be taking the “Next Step” just as they do!

The trip to your home and the conversion and safety check are included in the one low fee, which is payable at the time of each service. If delivery is required at any time, there will be an additional charge for delivery.

Developmental Stages

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics:

By the end of your baby’s 7th month, he/she will be rolling over both ways, front to back and back to front, and will be sitting without support

By the end of his/her 12th month, he/she will be crawling and pulling up to standing.

By the end of their 2nd year, he/she will be walking alone, standing on tiptoes, and climbing onto and down from furniture all by themselves!!

Safety Recommendations

Never place a crib near cords from a hanging window blind or drapery. Children could get caught in the cords and strangle.

Be sure to inspect every crib your child uses for safety—those at the grandparent’s home, the baby-sitter’s home, or the child care center.

Never use a crib with loose or missing attachments or support hardware.

If bumper pads are used, remove them when the baby begins to stand so that they can’t be used as steps.

The crib mattress should be lowered before the baby can sit alone. The mattress should be at it’s lowest point before the baby can stand.

Children should be taken out of the crib by the time they are 35 inches tall.

Crib Safety Standards

All joints and parts should fit tightly, and the wood must be smooth and free of splinters.

Check for cracked and peeling paint. All surfaces should be covered with lead-free paint safe for nursery furniture.

The end panels should be solid, without decorative cutouts. Cutout areas on panels can trap an infant’s head.

Corner posts should be flush with the end panels or else be very, very tall (such as posts on a canopy bed).

The lowered crib sides should be at least 9 inches above the mattress support to prevent the infant from falling out. Raised crib sides should be at least 26 inches above the mattress support in its lowest position.

The drop sides should have a locking, hand-operated latch that will not release unintentionally.
